Text Box: St Helen’s Church Services, Sunday 5th July 9.30am Family Communion and Gift Day Thursday 9th July 12 noon prayers and simple lunch. Sunday 12th July 9.30am Family Communion Sunday 22nd November at 9.30am there will be a service of Confirmation. Adults and children in Year 6 or above who would like to be confirmed please contact Rev Gray. Text Box: Years 3 and 4 Swimming Gala Congratulations must go to all the children who took part in the A and B swimming finals last Friday. All the children performed really well and did themselves and the school proud. Special mention must go to Aidan Oliver and Phoebe Thomason who won their A Final events, Keiran Jones who came second in his A Final event, Shannon Campbell who came third, and well done to Charlie Shaw and the Girls Medley Relay team for coming third in the B Final. Text Box: Snack Money The children who paid for snack this week but did not have any due to going out on Thursday with the choir, need only bring £1.68 for next week’s snack. Children in Classes 1 and 2 need only bring £1.68 as they will be out for one day on a school trip. Text Box: Guitar and Keyboard Lessons The last 2 guitar and keyboard lessons of the summer term will be on Wednesdays (ie 8th and 15th July) due to the cycling proficiency taking place on the Thursdays.

Playground Furniture

 

The new furniture in the playground was bought by the School’s Council and by Barclays Bank who donated £500.00.

 

 
Text Box: Summer Fair Can I remind everyone that the Summer Fair is taking place on Friday 10th July starting at 5.30pm. We would be grateful for any items that could be sold on different stalls, particularly the bottle and tombola. Text Box: Class 1 Visit to Greenacres Farm Park Class 1 are having an exciting day on Wednesday 8th July when they will be visiting Greenacres Farm Park. We hope the weather stays fine and that everyone has an enjoyable time. Text Box: Class 2 Visit to the Liverpool Maritime Museum Class 2 will be visiting the Maritime Museum in Liverpool on Friday 10th July as part of their topic. They have booked a special workshop which I know they will find interesting. Text Box: Bikeability Workshop The children in Year 5 will be taking part in the bikeability workshop on Thursday 9th July. All children taking part will need to bring their bikes into school on this day.
